A Look at Local Homes
The Bluffs is known for its older, character-filled houses. Nestled in along well-treed residential streets, you’ll find a variety of homes built in the Tudor, Edwardian, and Cape Cod styles. The popular Cliffside area also contains pockets of distinctive Elizabethan architecture, as well as a number of lots that look out onto the lake.
Homes in the Bluffs tend to be more affordable than those in the Beaches and other areas nearby, making the community a perfect alternative for families who want to enjoy the region’s stunning geography at a lower price point.
Community Highlights
Living in the Bluffs means having everything your family needs, right in your own backyard. That includes a prime shopping area, which is located along Kingston Road. Known as Cliffside Village, this charming district offers an eclectic mix of local shops, well-known retailers, and restaurants.
Those looking to explore nature will also feel right at home in the Bluffs. One of the area’s most beloved green spaces, Rosetta McClain Park, offers many vantage points from which to enjoy the waterfront. Visitors will also find a collection of herb and flower gardens that are perfect for a calming stroll. Another local favourite, Scarborough Bluffs Park, contains picnic areas that overlook Lake Ontario, along with a playground and tennis courts.
