Events to get you outside
- Fairmount Park Icemasters are hosting Winterfest on Saturday, February 8 from 2:00–5:00 p.m.
- Head down to the lake and enjoy Winter Stations at Woodbine Beach, starting on February 17.
- Liven up your skating with music! Evergreen Brickworks has DJ skate nights from 6:00–9:00 p.m. every Saturday in February.
Ideas to spend time exploring indoors
- Drop in to make zines and explore the Spadina Museum on Family Day, February 17.
- Check out some underwater scenery at Ripley’s Aquarium, which has extended hours over the Family Day weekend.
- The Model Railroad Club of Toronto, located on Curity Avenue, is having public shows on February 15, 17, and 22.
- For some art and culture, head to the AGO on Family Day weekend for special programming, including an all-day DJ, live performances, and art making.
- Designed by the Ontario Science Centre, KidSpark at the Harbourfront Centre is a great, educational, fun option for kids 10 and under.
